Albuquerque: You asked, and we’ve answered… our yard is now open on Saturdays!
Starting tomorrow, you can come to Full Sun Compost on Saturdays from 9am to 2pm to buy some compost or mulch, or to drop off your yard waste. We’re thrilled to finally be staffed up enough to offer these convenient weekend hours!
(We’re also open 8am to noon on Mondays and 8am to 4pm Tuesday thru Friday).
Currently available at our yard:
- Woodland Soil Builder Compost. This affordable compost from the Sierra Blanca mountains is made from forest cuttings and yard waste, and has a high fungal content. Great for amending large areas, and well suited to native plants. Buy it in bulk (0.5yd³+) or use our Scoop & Go system to self-load and self-pay by the bucket.
- New this week: we also have bagged compost for easy transport!
- Our own Full Sun Compost is still cooking, but should be ready in the next few weeks! Watch our website for updates.
- Arborist Mulch. This fresh wood mulch from local arborist waste is unscreened and may contain some sticks and leaves. Works best as a moisture-holding top layer for trees or raised beds. Available in bulk (0.5yd³+) and via Scoop & Go.
(NEW) Compost & Mulch Delivery! Don’t have a truck? We can now deliver compost or mulch directly to you! Currently available for 1-2 yd³ purchases, with a 3-7 yd³ option coming soon. Please email us for a delivery quote and scheduling.
Member Discount! For the rest of 2026, we’re offering Little Green Bucket members a 10% discount on all purchases from our yard!

We’re walking the Pride Parade next Saturday, June 13th, and we’d love for you to join us!
