Full Sun Compost
Our flagship compost, screened to 1/2″, is produced on-site from a blend of locally generated yard waste, arborist wood chips, and all the food waste we collect from our community.
Give your soil something good to work with. Full Sun Compost adds microbially rich organic matter that supports and builds soil structure, retains moisture, and feeds the soil life that keeps a garden growing.
Work it into new garden beds, top-dress established planting areas, or apply it around trees and shrubs. It’s a versatile choice for vegetable gardens, flower beds, and the everyday work of building healthier soil.
Not sure how much you need? Our Material Calculator can help you choose an application depth and decide how much compost to purchase.
Every load brings local resources back into use. Food scraps collected from our neighbors and local businesses become compost for the next round of growing—right here in Albuquerque.

The Hot Stuff (Experts Only)
Hot, uncured compost for knowledgeable landowners who understand its uses and limitations. Sold in person only, with a 10-yard minimum.
The Hot Stuff is our uncured, unscreened compost. It’s still hot and biologically active, and hasn’t reached the stability of our other compost products. If you need finished compost ready for your garden, choose our finished Full Sun Compost instead.
Expect more woody material and persistent food scraps, such as pineapple tops and avocado pits. Because it hasn’t been screened, it also contains more contamination than our other products, particularly plastic and metal cutlery.
We sell The Hot Stuff in person only, with a 10-cubic-yard minimum, so we can discuss your intended use, make sure you understand the material, and pair you with the right batch before purchasing.
Optional coarse screening is available, but won’t remove every contaminant.
- Bulk:
- $50/yd³
- Optional 2-inch screening:
- $7/yd³
